CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP	Charles Galante and Michael Grisanti began in the construction industry in the early 1970’s in Grand Island, NY. As they could not afford to pay to have their trucks repaired, they were forced to make the repairs themselves. Charlie and Mike began to repair trucks for other construction companies in the area for some extra money and soon realized that there was a market for this service. In 1974 Charlie and Mike elected to get out of the construction business and start repairing heavy trucks full-time. They started in a two-car garage on Grand Island, New York with five hundred dollars and an air compressor. In 1977 they rented a building in Colden, New York and became incorporated as Colden Paint & Collision. But just as they were ready to open for business they were faced with resistance from the Town Board for the necessary permits to begin operations. After hearing about an available shop in Kenmore from a friend, they picked up and moved again to our present site 750 Ontario Street in Kenmore. After Kevin Brooks started in 1983, his leadership skills and dedication did not go unnoticed and was quickly promoted and became an equity partner in 1988. Michael sold his interest in the company in 2001 but remains an important asset to the company as Vice President of Fleet Services. During our thirty year span Colden has evolved from a two car garage into a leader in the fire service and Buffalo's largest heavy truck collision center currently operating in a 22,000 square foot facility.
